2011-12: Was the team captain this season, his fourth with the T-Birds. He played in 72 games, registering 16 goals and 21 assists for 37 points, good for second on the team in scoring. Had two goals at Everett on December 28. Had a four-game point streak over the last three games of January and the first game of February. Scored a goal in both games in Prince George on March 6 and 7. Had a goal and an assist in back-to-back games on March 16 at Spokane and March 17 vs. Everett. The goal against Everett was scored on a penalty shot at 16:45 of the second period.
2010-11: Luke played in 71 games this season and had 48 points on 21 goals and 27 assists. He was one of five T-Birds to score 20 or more goals in the season. Luke had the T-Birds second hat trick of the season when he scored three goals on November 9 in Saskatoon. The next night in Prince Albert Luke had a goal and three assists in a 5-2 win over the Raiders. Luke had three assists at Prince George in a 5-4 shootout win on December 4. Seven times this season Luke has two points in a game. Luke had three two-game assist streaks, three three-game point streaks and three two-game point streaks. Luke was invited to the NHL Scouting Combine in Toronto at the end of May. He also participated in the Washington Capitals Development Camp in July in Washington D.C.
2009-10: Luke played 66 games with the T-Birds scoring eight goals and eight assists for 16 points and had 33 penalty minutes. Luke tallied three assists November 13 at Kamloops. He had two goals and two assists in six games from February 20 to February 28. Luke got the last of the regular season when he scored in overtime against Vancouver on March 14 to give the T-Birds the win.
2008-09: In Luke’s first season with the Thunderbirds he played in 62 games and had 15 points on five goals and 10 assists. Luke also spent 32 minutes in the penalty box during the regular season. During the playoffs Luke played in all five games scoring and had one assist.
