Mikhail Sentyurin Receives Release From Moscow Dynamo

MIKHAIL SENTYURIN RECEIVES RELEASE FROM MOSCOW DYNAMO
Left wing can now take part in all T-Birds team activities
KENT Seattle Thunderbirds general manager Russ Farwell this afternoon announced left wing Mikhail Sentyurin has received his release from Moscow Dynamo and can start taking part in all T-Bird team activities.

Sentyurin, from Moscow, was the T-Birds first round selection, 35th overall, in the 2009 CHL Import Draft. He was born August 17, 1992, and is eligible for the 2010 NHL Draft.

Sentyurin is eligible to play against Prince Albert on Tuesday night, but will most likely be a scratch as he has not yet practiced with the T-Birds. His first practice with the team will be on Wednesday, October 14, and it is possible he can play in weekend games against the Everett Silvertips and Prince George Cougars

Sentyurin was a member of the Under-17 Russian National team the last two years. In 2008-09 with the Moscow Dynamo junior team, Sentyurin appeared in 24 games and had 17 goals and 14 assists for 31 points. In 2007-08 with the Dynamo he played in 36 games and had 25 goals and 15 assists for 40 points.

The T-Birds travel to Everett to take on the Silvertips on Friday at 7:35 p.m. They are back home at ShoWare Center on Saturday, October 17, at 7:05 p.m. to face the Prince George Cougars.

T-Birds single game tickets for the 2009-10 season are available online at the T-Birds website and at the ShoWare Center box office. The ShoWare Center Box Office is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday game days at 10 a.m. and Sunday game days at noon.
