Two T-Birds Taking Part In NHL Development Camps

Jarret Tyszka and Reece Harsch invited to NHL Development Camps

KENT, June 27, 2018 — Two members of the Seattle Thunderbirds are taking part in NHL Development Camps this summer.

Defenseman Jarret Tyszka is attending the Montreal Canadiens Development Camp at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard, Quebec from Thursday, June 28 through Sunday, July 1.

Tyszka_Body_010618Last season Tyszka had 40 points on eight goals and 32 assists in 70 games. Tyszka was selected by the Canadiens in the fifth round, 149th overall, in the 2017 Draft and attended the Canadiens Development Camp and Rookie Camp last summer. Tyszka was selected in the first round, 16th overall, in the 2014 Bantam Draft.

Defenseman Reece Harsch is attending the Las Vegas Golden Knights Development Camp at the City National Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, from Tuesday, June 26, through Saturday, June 30.


Harsch_Body_121517Last season Harsch had 25 points on 10 goals and 15 assists in 53 games. Harsch was originally selected by the T-Birds in the eighth round, 170th overall, in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft.

The Seattle Thunderbirds start the 2018-19 Western Hockey League regular season against the Portland Winterhawks on Saturday, September 22, at 6:05pm at the accesso ShoWare Center.

Season Tickets for 2018-19 season are currently on sale. Season tickets can be purchased by calling the T-Birds office at 253-239-7825.

T-Birds single game tickets for the 2018-19 regular season will go on sale Wednesday, August 22, at 10am online on the T-Birds website and at the accesso ShoWare Center box office.
