Hickman Joins Bridgeport Sound Tigers

Team captain had 22 goals and 24 assists this season

KENT, April 11, 2014 — Seattle Thunderbirds general manager Russ Farwell today announced team captain Justin Hickman has signed an Amateur Tryout Agreement with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League. The Tigers are the top affiliate of the NHL’s New York Islanders.

This season Hickman had 22 goals and 24 assists for 46 points in 67 games with 154 penalty minutes. In nine playoff games he had two goals and two assists.

In four seasons with the T-Birds Hickman has appeared in 254 games and has 104 points on 46 goals and 58 assists with 426 penalty minutes. He was the T-Birds second round selection, overall, 34th overall, in the 2009 Bantam Draft.
